The outgoing dean of postgraduate studies of the University Professor Felix Okieimen has celebrated his seventh and retirement. The event held at Indoor Sports Hall Uniben and was graced by dignitaries from all walks of life and Academia including the vice Chancellor of the University of Benin Professor Lillian salami Rose nebrama, the former dean of post-graduate students Uniben Professor Felix Okieimen. They we’re entertained with a dance troupe from Acer land. the vice Chancellor University of Benin Professor Lilian salami estored the celebrant professor Phyllis Okieimen as one who has not only contributed to the development of the institution but has also made meaningful impacts in the lives of other professors in different institutions across the state.

On the occasion, a former Vice Chancellor of the University of Benin /Emeritus Professor Andrew Uno Hawaii said Professor Phyllis Okieimen has made his Mark in academics and Beyond he served the university very well, I wish him and his family well. The veins also features retirement lecture by Professor Raymond Juana and a book launch title introduction to petroleum chemistry. The celebrant stated that for the 47 years I served in the University of Benin. Prof. Phyllis Okieimen’s Wife stated “I want to wish the celebrant professor Okieimen a happy birthday and will he continue to tap from the knowledge he has and call him a colossal and he has built men. Professor Phyllis Okieimen as a research chemist has supervised 116 MSC students 45 PhD candidates and has taught at all levels of Education across the states.
